Refund & Cancellation Policy for Ruchi Rider

Effective Date: 1 March 2026

At Ruchi Rider, we aim to provide a smooth and hassle-free shopping and delivery experience. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which you can cancel orders and request refunds.


1. Order Cancellation by Users

  • You can cancel an order before it is processed or dispatched.

  • To cancel an order, go to My Orders in the app and select the order you wish to cancel.

  • Once the cancellation is confirmed, the payment will be refunded according to your payment method.

Note: Orders that are already being delivered or have been dispatched cannot be canceled.


2. Order Cancellation by Ruchi Rider

  • Ruchi Rider reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

    • Unavailability of products

    • Incorrect pricing or technical errors

    • Suspicious or fraudulent activity

  • In such cases, a full refund will be issued immediately via the original payment method.


3. Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during purchase.

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, usually within 5–7 business days.

  • Partial refunds may be issued in case of partial order fulfillment.


4. Return of Items

  • Some products (e.g., groceries, medicine, perishable items) cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged.

  • To request a return, contact our support with order details and photos of the damaged or incorrect item.

  • Approved returns will be refunded after verification.


5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after the order is processed or dispatched

  • Delays caused by third-party delivery issues beyond our control

  • Perishable or time-sensitive items that have been delivered
